Terms of Service

Definitions and protocols governing your use of the Pet Travel Guide platform and data services.

Document Version: 2026.03.v14

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pet Travel Guide, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Protocol. If you are using our services on behalf of a pet relocation agency or veterinary clinic, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. Data Disclaimer & Accuracy

CRITICAL COMPLIANCE NOTICE
While our data-driven engine cross-references 190+ global biosecurity databases, pet relocation laws can change within 24 hours. Our reports provide the highest probability of compliance, but they do not constitute final legal authorization. Users should verify all health certificates with their Official Veterinarian (OV) within 10 days of travel.

Pet Travel Guide is not liable for border rejections, quarantine fees, or transit delays resulting from changes in government policy that occur between the time of report generation and the date of arrival.

3. Usage & Intellectual Property

The compliance matrices, logic engines, and custom route reports generated on this platform are protected by international copyright law. We grant you a limited, non-transferable license to use these tools for personal or sanctioned professional relocation purposes.

  • Permitted: Personal use for your own pets.
  • Prohibited: Scraping our data to feed external AI models.
  • Permitted: Sharing PDF reports with customs officials.
  • Prohibited: Reselling raw database access without a Partner API key.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Pet Travel Guide, its directors, or its data partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including but not limited to pet transit loss, emergency veterinary bills beyond what is covered by separate insurance, or missed flight costs) arising from the use of our platform.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of International Biosecurity Standards and applicable maritime/air transit regulations. Disputes will be handled through mandatory arbitration in accordance with local jurisdiction.
